Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet with Digital LCD Control
Protect your eyes while maintaining a clear view of your work with this advanced
auto-darkening welding helmet featuring the DX-850E filter system. Designed for welding, grinding and general fabrication applications, this helmet combines fast auto-darkening technology, digital controls, adjustable shade settings and a large viewing area to provide the visibility and control needed for demanding workshop and welding environments.
Equipped with a
100 x 50 mm viewing area, two arc sensors and an ultra-fast
1/25,000-second switching time, the helmet automatically responds when a welding arc is detected. The adjustable shade range, sensitivity control and delay settings allow the helmet to be configured according to the application and working conditions.
DX-850E Auto-Darkening Filter
At the heart of the helmet is the
DX-850E auto-darkening filter (ADF). The filter cartridge measures
110 x 90 x 9 mm and provides a generous
100 x 50 mm viewing area, giving the operator a clear view of the work area.
When an arc is detected, the filter automatically switches from its light state to the selected dark shade, helping provide eye protection without requiring the operator to repeatedly raise and lower the helmet.
Ultra-Fast 1/25,000-Second Switching Time
The auto-darkening filter features an extremely fast
1/25,000-second switching time. When the sensors detect the welding arc, the lens rapidly changes from light to dark.
This fast response makes the helmet convenient for repeated welding operations and allows the user to keep the helmet in position while preparing, positioning and welding the workpiece.
Adjustable Shade Range
Different welding applications can require different levels of lens darkness. This helmet provides multiple shade ranges of
4 / 5โ8 / 9โ13, offering the flexibility needed for a variety of compatible applications.
The adjustable shade settings allow the operator to select the appropriate level according to the welding process and operating conditions.
Two Arc Sensors
The helmet is equipped with
two sensors designed to detect the welding arc and activate the auto-darkening filter.
The sensor system provides reliable arc detection while allowing the operator to concentrate on positioning and welding the workpiece.
Digital Sensitivity Control
Working environments can vary significantly depending on ambient light, welding current and surrounding activity. The helmet features
digitally adjustable sensitivity from low to high, allowing the response of the auto-darkening filter to be customized according to the working environment.
This gives the operator greater control over how easily the filter reacts to an arc.
Adjustable Dark-to-Light Delay
After welding stops, the lens can be adjusted to remain dark for a selected period before returning to its light state. The
dark-to-light delay is digitally adjustable from 0.1 to 2.0 seconds.
This adjustable delay provides additional control for different welding conditions and allows the operator to select the setting that best suits the application.
Integrated Grinding Function
For added versatility, the helmet includes a dedicated
grinding function. This allows the helmet to be used during compatible grinding and preparation work without requiring the operator to switch to separate face protection between welding and grinding operations, when appropriate for the task.
This feature makes the helmet particularly practical for fabrication jobs that involve alternating between welding and grinding.
LCD Digital Display
The helmet features an
LCD screen that provides a convenient interface for viewing and adjusting the digital settings.
The digital display makes it easier to configure the helmet according to the application and provides a modern, user-friendly approach to controlling sensitivity, delay and other available functions.
Automatic Filter Self-Check
An integrated
ADF self-check function allows the user to verify the operation of the auto-darkening filter system.
This convenient feature provides an additional way to confirm the filter’s functionality before beginning work.
Low-Battery Warning Indicator
To help prevent unexpected loss of battery power, the helmet features a
low-battery warning indicator.
The visual warning alerts the operator when battery power is getting low, allowing the batteries to be replaced before the next job.
Replaceable Battery System with Solar Assistance
The helmet uses a combination of a
solar cell and two CR2032 lithium batteries to power the auto-darkening system.
The replaceable battery design provides convenient maintenance when the batteries reach the end of their service life, while the integrated solar cell assists the helmet’s power system during normal operation.
Optical Class 1/1/1/2
The auto-darkening filter features an
optical classification of 1/1/1/2, providing strong optical performance across the primary categories used to evaluate auto-darkening welding filters.
This classification contributes to clear viewing of the work area and consistent filter performance during compatible welding applications.
Designed for Welding and Fabrication
With its combination of adjustable shade levels, digital controls, grinding mode and fast auto-darkening response, this helmet is a practical choice for a variety of welding and fabrication environments, including:
- Welding shops
- Automotive repair
- Metal fabrication
- Maintenance departments
- Garage and workshop applications
- Welding preparation
- Grinding applications
- General metalworking
Always select the appropriate shade and personal protective equipment according to the welding process and application being performed.
